A hospital in Torrance, CA, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join a collaborative team in providing care in both the endoscopy suite and the operating room (OR). The cases will include endoscopy, general surgery, gynecology, and eye procedures.

Qualifications of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

  • Active California CRNA license

  • Board Certification in Anesthesia required

  • Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience

  • Proficiency in Cerner EMR

  • Valid DEA certification

  • Certifications: BLS, ATLS

  • Proof of COVID vaccination

Duties/Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia patient assessments.

  • Educate patients and families on anesthesia and post-procedure recovery.

  • Administer anesthesia through various methods (injection, inhalation, or oral medication).

  • Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthesia as needed.

  • Ensure patient safety during anesthesia recovery.

  • Maintain and operate anesthesia equipment.

  • Document all patient care and anesthesia records in the Cerner EMR system.

  • Stay updated on current anesthesia practices.
